Books
Craobh Naithí have published a number of Tune books and
cds. They are intended to help students by providing a selection of tunes
which once learned enable the musician to play with others in our groups and bands
as well as impromptu sessions. They are produced to the highest musical standards and are recommended.


Irish Traditional Music - Book One
A wide selection of tunes encompassing most of the rhythm types:- Reels; Double and Single Jigs;
Slip Jigs; Hornpipes; Flings; Polkas; Marches; Airs; Christmas Tunes and the National Anthem.
Irish Traditional Music - Book Two
A further collection to expand the student’s repertoire. Both books were
compiled by Michael Tubridy and Edited by Méabh Ní Lochlainn, two highly respected musicians.

Book One
The ‘Yellow’ Book
This 3-pack of CD's covers all 128 tunes in the Yellow Book, and includes a couple of extra tracks to help with instrument tuning. Most tunes are played slowly and then at session speed. This CD set should be of considerable help students of traditional Irish music, as it offers a
unique chance to hear the tunes from the Yellow Book as they should be played.
Book Two
The ‘Green’ Book
A collection of 3 CD's which cover all the tunes in the Green book, most played slowly and then at regular tempo on fiddle, concertina,
accordion, flute, whistle and harp, or sung.
